Anna has had a lifelong passion for psychology and completed her Bachelor of Arts with a major in Psychology at York University and her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. She is a certified member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario and a member in good standing with the Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals.
Anna’s approach is psychodynamic, narrative and solution-focused, thus, acknowledging each individual’s complexity and inherent strengths and develops solutions from each person’s unique perspective.
Anna has also completed her Phase 1 certification in Brainspotting. Brainspotting is a technology that accesses different parts of the brain based on the position of the eyes. This treatment is dynamic and can be used in conjunction with traditional psychotherapy
Anna began her career as a therapist in training with Patricia Weinberg at Supportive Family Services and has provided therapy for individuals, children and couples. She strives to be authentic and non-judgmental, enjoys working with everyone and can offer supportive and realistic strategies to improve clients’ lives.
Anna has worked with children and families for 15 years in social services and utilizes that experience in her psychotherapy and parenting skills sessions. She has the ability to empathize with teens and young adults and is open to communicating on various mediums. She is also passionate about helping to develop and maintain healthy relationships with loved ones.
Anna will work toward helping individuals and families uncover their best qualities and live happier lives.
