    Marwa is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and a member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. She majored in Psychology and earned her Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education at York University. She first began her career as an educator, later deciding to pursue her Master of Education in Counselling Psychology and Psychotherapy at OISE, at the University of Toronto.

    Marwa is passionate about supporting clients in navigating life’s challenges, attaining a deeper sense of self-awareness and overcoming barriers to personal well-being. She strives to provide client-centered support using a holistic, strength-based, trauma-informed, culturally sensitive and anti-oppressive approach. By nurturing a safe, compassionate, inclusive and empathic space, Marwa is able to collaboratively work with her clients to meet their unique needs and goals. Her practice is eclectic in nature, often drawing on DBT, CBT, IFS, psychodynamic therapy, self-compassion therapy and mindfulness-based interventions. She believes it is a privilege to be a part of your journey of self-discovery and healing.
